Q:Does it tell you more than just the code ? Also does it work on 90's cars ?

A:96 and up vehicles have obd2 so if you vehicle is 96 or up yes if it's a 95 down to 80 something it's obd1 which this tool can read it just doesn't come with the cable to read obd1 so you'll have to order it separately
