My Dad had been looking at different OBD2 scanners for awhile that had the functions he was most interested in, a long warranty and free lifetime updates. He had mentioned this one looked interesting so I ordered it for him. He has already used on a couple of vehicles and said he was surprised to see the codes it displayed, especially on the 2005 Saturn Vue which is still running strong having over 250K miles on the original engine. He is looking forward to use it on the other family vehicles. He's happy.

Great reader, and worked well on a european land cruiser computer, which even our expensive snap-on reader didn't do. The customer support was also great, and the updates are easy to do.

Its easy to use the auto vin look up is nice, live data stream works great, ford owner it has the ficm data on it.

When received the goods, you can use it directly, if add some new cars or function, then could update, and it depends on you, if no need new software, you can choose not update, thanks.
