I was able to link and use PRO5 J2534 on pc also there is so many reset functions and has the best feature of all it runs on android with access to multiple apps and browser. Easy to use.

I purchased the X431 PRO5 scanner from this website a few months ago. It works very well and I like it very much, and it still operates very smoothly now!

I have had this scanner for a month now and I am very happy with it. I have worked on several different vehicles with my x431 pro 5 and I am amazed at what all you can do with this tool. It has saved me so much time and money!!!

Awesome for BMW and RANGE ROVER, retire the old matco scanner and this x431 pro 5 faster nice fast diag still learning from it .

So far very impressed with the bidirectional controls and functions. It would be alot better if x431 pro5 can do the coding and programming came activated out of the box.

Top Notch of this x431 PRO5. I was able to link and use J2534 on pc also there is so many reset functions and has the best feature of all it runs on android with access to multiple apps and browser.

really good tool for the money...if planning to use professionally don't hesitate, it will pay for itself quicker then you expect.
update/edit:
highly recommend the x431 tools. there's some learning curve as certain functions are a little hidden (but everything is there if you look.) it just bailed us out of a bind on a transmission relearn/reset where both autel and snap on verus (both w latest updates) wouldn't finish. very good investment

Scanner is a full function scanner. When you buy it, make sure to read the directions, the scan tool has to be activated before you use it. It's a fully capable Android tablet so you can pretty much use it for anything you would use your phone for. The adapters are pretty nice, the scan tool powers up very fast, it is definitely good for professional use.

I got this tool to scan the BMW DME (engine control unit, or Digital Motor Electronics in Bosch language) and to reset warning indicators: SES (oxygen sensor errors for example)and service interval messages (oil change indicator for example). This tool does that.

Definitely more than a diy tool, this has good live data graphs and bi directional. The cost is there but you'll be using this tool often in the field if it's your first one.

I've been looking for a device that can do programming and all relearn services myself for used cars. I found this X431 scanner from Google AD. After researching and viewingvideos.I have done 2 ECU programmings on the BMW and this scanner programmed OEM data to repair software-controlled issues so we could use a used ECU saving not only time but money. I would definitely recommend the diagnostic tool to others.And if needed.I would purchase other things from the LAUNCH again

Is the launch x431 pro5 compatible with mac when do j2534 programming?

Sorry sir, the Launch X431 PRO5 is currently only compatible with Windows PC when doing J2534 programming.
