Full OBD2 Diagnostic Functions

Mode $01 – read extensive current, pending and permanent codes in OBD system quickly;
Mode $02 – clear detected fault codes and turn off the Check Engine Light efficiently;
Mode $03 – view graphical live data of vehicle’s computer module(s) for easy analyses;
Mode $04 – view the vehicle's operating parameters at the moment a DTC is detected;
Mode $05 – read I/M readiness status to have a vehicle inspected for state emissions compliance;
Mode $06 – perform O2 sensor test to check fuel efficiency and vehicle emissions;
Mode $07 – present minimum, maximum and current values to see if each monitor is OK;

Special Functions:

1. Oil Reset Service – perform reset for the engine oil life system and turn off the oil lamp;
2. EPB Service – reset the brake pad after any replacements in EPB system are done;
3. SAS Service – perform steering angle calibration and clear steering sensor fault memory;
4. ABS Bleeding – bleed the air from the anti-lock brake system to get a firm brake pad;
5. DPF Regeneration – clear particulate matter from the filter to stabilize its performance;

How to Update the Software of CR9081?
 
1. Go to the official website of LAUNCH "www.dbscar.com", click "Products" -> "creader 4001~9081"; find the "creader 9081", then down load the update tool to your computer.
2. Install the update tool on your computer
3. Connect the Creader 9081 to your computer via the USD data lines in the package.
4. Run the update tool software, fill in the serial number and register code of creader 9081 (The serial number and register code will be found on the screen when you conect creader 9081 to your PC), choose the softwares that you need, click the update. Please keep the device connected and ensure the network works well.
